Jan. 27, 2017 – I don’t know about YOU, but at any point I have like over 500 spammy comments sitting in my moderation queue. BUT I just can’t bring myself to “bulk mark as spam” in case there might be some love from some real readers in there.

Fittingly, Google just shared 10 or so strategies and tips to help protect websites from spam, including:

  • Ensure software and programs are up-to-date
  • Use CAPTCHA
  • Disable comments or use moderation capabilities
  • Use automated systems

Jan. 25, 2017 – Where is the first place you go to decide on where to eat supper? According to Instagram, 53% of frequent diners and 41% of occasional diners agree that their mobile phone is the first place they go to decide on a fast-food restaurant.

How do you entice hangry people to come feast with you? Instagram shares this recipe:

  • Create the crave
  • Drive the visit
  • Bring them back

While this seems suited specifically for the restaurant industry, the recipe is actually applicable to a lot of industries!
