Supersede your competition
Pay-per-click is an online advertising model that has made Google billions and has brought success to many businesses that you use it. It is like a magic wand with a dollar bill on it (without exaggeration). But even this magic requires a strategic approach, otherwise you will lose much more than what you gain.
Back in the ancient Internet age, just about a decade ago, Google wonderfully executed the idea of having advertisers bid for keywords in search results. The greater the bid, the higher position. Rules were much more simpler then. Now it has become more competitive than ever to position your website. A high bid doesn’t necessarily mean that your listing would rank higher. Google can no longer be bribed and has swayed just a little from greed. The focus now is on quality scores even when it comes to ranking for paid results.
We must not forget that other search engines such as Bing (who has joined forces with Yahoo!) and Ask.com are also major players for executing PPC campaigns.
You can now take advantage of positioning yourself among the social media giants, just as you would in search engines. Facebook, LinkedIn and most major players in the social media market place offer their own advertising platforms usually a spin of pay-per-click campaign models.
Creating an account and setting up a quick campaign is not that difficult. You can go to Google Adwords or Facebook and launch a campaign within a couple of hours or less. The key however is to make the campaign effective so you can achieve the desired conversion goals.
Defining your goal:
without knowing what results you want to achieve from your campaign, we have no idea of what the campaign is for. The goal should be distinct, measurable and highly targeted to your market.
Developing a strategy:
The strategy should be around your goal and should encompass your target market. You need to identify what you want website visitors to do over the course of the campaign. Every time someone clicks on your ad, they will be forwarded to a landing page. This landing page needs to convince your target audience to complete the necessary tasks so you can achieve your objective. The strategy will also reflect the platform that is to be used for your Pay-Per-Click campaigns.
Designing the landing page:
We then need to proceed with working on a landing page. This is the page that your audience will see as soon as they cost you that click. It needs to be effective! Depending on your goals and your target audience we will design a page that is persuasive and has analytics in place so you can track your conversions.
Creating the campaign:
The campaign itself needs to be structured properly for greater efficacy. Selection of words, number of lines, landing page choice, bidding rate are just some of the factors that need to be considered. Depending on the selected platform there are also different rules that need to be followed.
Campaign management and tracking:
It would not be wise if we do not manage the campaign or track the return on your investment. The beauty about the Internet is that advanced analytics are available and we provide you a monthly analysis report of how your campaigns are performing and what kind of impact it is having on your website.
